We are Mark Travis and Frederick Johntz, Hollywood writers and directors with over 40 years combined experience in the entertainment business.
In 1999 we formed TRAVIS-JOHNTZ to offer directorial consulting and script consulting
for the entertainment industry. We have consulted on studio films, network television shows, independent features, shorts, and theatrical properties.
In private film consultations our focus is on the story you want to tell. The emphasis is:
• What is the story about?
• Does the script adequately convey the story?
• How is the director going to get the story on the screen?
• Is the director's vision in line with the potential of the script and the story?
